Step 1: On small plate, combine sugar with 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon. Rim 6 high-ball glasses with lemon wedge; dip each glass in sugar mixture until evenly coated around rim. Fill each glass halfway with ice; set aside.

Step 2: To make the cocktail, combine apple cider, remaining 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves; bring to boil. Simmer for 2 minutes; remove from heat and let cool completely. Strain; stir in whiskey and lemon juice.

Step 3: Divide evenly among glasses; top up each glass with beer. Garnish each glass with cinnamon stick and apple wedge.


  • 2 tbsp. brown sugar
