Step 1: Spiced Simple Syrup: Combine granulated sugar, water, and whole cloves in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil; remove from heat. Steep 5 minutes; discard cloves.

Step 2: Dip rims of 2 highball glasses into corn syrup, then coat with finely crushed gingersnap cookies and coarse sugar; set aside.

Step 3: Add ice cubs, Gingerbread Spiced Rum, fresh lime juice and spiced simple syrup to a cocktail shaker. Cover and shake well. Pour into prepared glasses.

Step 4: Top each drink with ginger beer. Garnish with sugar-coated rosemary sprigs and cranberries, if desired.

  • 4 oz. Captain Morgan Gingerbread Spiced Rum
  • 1 oz. fresh lime juice
