Directions
Step 1: Dip an 8 oz. glass into water and line the rim with coarse sugar; fill with ice, set aside.
Step 2: Pour whisky, fresh lime juice, and simple syrup into a cocktail shaker. Fill with ice, cover; shake about 30 seconds or until beverage is cold.
Step 3: Strain into glass filled with ice.
Step 4: Pour 1 oz. red wine over the top. Garnish with a lemon peel, if desired.

- 1 oz. fresh lime juice
- 1 oz. simple syrup
- 1 oz. Bogle Merlot wine
- Lemon peel, for garnish
