Directions
Step 1: Combine 3 teaspoons sugar, lemon zest, and orange zest in a shallow dish.
Step 2: Drizzle 1/2 teaspoon hot honey along the rim of a 12-oz. heatproof mug; dip rim in sugar mixture.
Step 3: Pour 10-oz. hot water into prepared mug; add bourbon, 2 tablespoons hot honey, 1 teaspoon cane sugar, and gingerroot slices; stir to combine.
Step 4: Garnish with lemon and orange slices, if desired.

- 4 tsp. Organic pure cane sugar, divided
- 1 tsp. lemon zest
- 1 tsp. orange zest
- 2 tbsp. plus 1/2 tsp. hot honey
- 10 oz. hot water
- 1 oz. bourbon
- 4 slice(s) (1/4-in.-thick) fresh gingerroot
- Lemon, sliced, for garnish
